STHAPATI SANGSHAD LIMITED, originally named and styled as “STHAPATI SANGSHAD” a partnership firm, was formed in 1969 in Dhaka by a group of promising and enthusiastic Architects, Engineers and Planners with a view to making significant contribution in the field of consulting services. The Partnership was registered on 05 February 1973. Later on, in 1976 the partnership was incorporated with the joint stock company under the name and style of “STHAPATI SANGSHAD LIMITED” inheriting all the assets, liabilities and goodwill of the partnership by the founding partners, Registration No.C-4776/194 of 1975-76.
A Board of Directors comprising of one Managing Director, two Directors manages the firm. The Directors are experienced professionals who directly look after the technical affairs in addition to the management of the firm. The concerned Director(s) directly maintains liaison with the Clients and Senior Key professionals assist them accordingly. A good number of junior level professionals and supporting technical staff provide support to the senior professionals. Each section can draw the services of another section when necessity arises. Besides, the full time employees, many national experts and academics work with SSL as associates. SSL has successfully completed a couple of hundred projects individually while it has also worked with a good number of international and local consulting firms under joint venture arrangement for projects financed by development agencies.
